Diane Austin is examining the impacts of offshore oil and gas activity on individuals, families, and communities along the Gulf of Mexico. She also works on several environmental management and education projects with Native American tribes and is a researcher, responsible for Native American issues, on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-funded Southwest Climate Assessment Project (CLIMAS).
