Austin Long's research interests include environmental isotope hydrology, Pleistocene chronology, paleoclimatology and radiocarbon dating of archaeological materials His work has involved the application of geochemistry to the chemical and environmental isotopic groundwater recharge in Tucson Basin and nearby groundwater systems.
