Hoshin Gupta specializes in surface hydrology, floods, and rainfall-runoff models. His work includes the application of remotely sensed data to watershed modeling, the estimation of precipitation from satellite imagery, and the application of artificial neural networks to hydrology. He is also interested in mathematical modeling, global change, and the relationship between hydrology, weather, and climate.
