Travis Huxman is a broadly trained plant physiological ecologist who is interested in plant evolution and global change. His research asks questions about plant physiological processes in an ecological and evolutionary context, with implications for how organisms work and how ecosystems function. A primary goal of his future research is in trying to understand how climate change may affect population, community, and ecosystem processes through changes in individual plants using both experimental and modeling efforts.
