David Adelman’s work focuses on the interfaces between law and science, with a particular emphasis on evaluating environmental and regulatory issues relating to new or controversial technologies and assessing the impacts of intellectual property regimes on scientific research in the United States. He received a BA in chemistry and physics from Reed College in 1988 and a PhD in physical chemistry from Stanford University in 1993.
