Research Interests:

I am a Geosciences  who uses natural climate archives like cave formations and lake sediments to investigate monsoon variability on timescales of a few decades to a few thousand years. I am specifically interested in the natural range of variability in the monsoon system, rather, how wet or how dry it could get. I am also working on a project to understand the relationship between caves and climate more robustly here in Southern Arizona. I am collecting cave dripwater and surface rainwater in an effort to better understand how caves in S. Arizona react to monsoon vs. winter precipitation.
