Research Interests:

I am a PhD candidate in Epidemiology with a minor in Global Change. As well as a researcher and project coordinator for the Skin Cancer Institute of the University of Arizona Cancer Center. My research focuses on how global change (both physical and social) influences public health. My current primary research project concentrates on identifying spatial factors, related to geographic and built environments, which are associated with melanoma incidence and skin cancer risk. My research utilizes both traditional epidemiological methodologies and interdisciplinary spatial analysis tools, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
