Research Interests:

I am a doctoral student in the School of Natural Resources & the Environment and the Laboratory of Tree-ring Research, and majoring in Natural Resources--Watershed Management and minoring in Global Change.  My research focus is forest ecology, more specifically on cross-scale analysis of tree growth as influenced by climate, topography, and disturbance history on scales from the individual tree to landscape-level species distributions. My study areas are in two mountain ranges in northern New Mexico, where I am working in Ponderosa pine and mixed conifer ecosystems.
